Electro-Rock Crosses Over to Recovery In a GOOD way

December 29th, 2009

Industrial rock music has often been more archaic, yet that is changing. There is this upbeat synth-rock I stumbled across by Matt Soren that has a different twist on industrial music. His new album is a mix of electro-rock and the story of beating addiction.

There are some song previews at his URL at www.inspiringrock.com. It looks like the mixes are temporary while wrapping up final tracks. They sound professional to me but I am no audiophile. It is cool to find more music like this written directly for addiction recovery in a more kickin way from a person that has been there and is making a difference for others. Also It’s nice to have this type of music stemming from the industrial scene which is normally more negative in nature. Got to love that!

By the way, he has free songs you can get from his music page and more in his back extras page which is all no charge. I also saw discount passes, album art, and other downloads. It will be exciting to get the album once it is finished.
